There are leather discolorations, scratches and small scuff marks as is typical in a used saddle, particularly where the stirrup leathers meet the flap. The billet holes are a bit enlarged but overall the billets are working. The tree appears to be sound and solid.

    The saddle:
    This is a functional and well balanced 16" saddle made in England. The maker's plate is partly obscured to the point I cannot read it. The leather is clearly high quality english leather. Plain flap so young riders develop strong leg muscles.
    The size:
    This saddle has a 16" seat, perfect for youth. The tree appears to be a medium size, for the average horse or pony with some withers. It measures 4.5 dot to dot.
    The condition:
