NICE TAD COFFIN SMART RIDE A5G OFFERED FOR SALE!
SEAT IS STAMPED 18" BUT LIKE MOST TAD'S IT MEASURES A LITTLE SMALLER AT 17.5" ,FLAPS MEASURE 13" BAR TO BOTTOM AND 12 3/4" ACROSS( SIZE 70 FLAPS) ,THE FRONT GULLET MEASURES 5" -WIDE TREE (CAN BE NARROWED DOWN WITH A LEATHER TAD PAD IF NEEDED)
2012 MODEL -The Smart Ride tree is designed to bend with the horses movements. You can watch videos on Tad's website to understand the technology. Leather is soft and the outer pads are soft and squishy. The saddle has no tears, no loose stitching, and the seat looks good.  The outer pads do show some wear along the sides ( see picture) Saddle has both front + back blocks.   The A5 has the flatter seat. Front panels are nice and thin and flexible so if you have a wider shoulder horse or pony with minimal withers these seem to fit great. The bottom panels are also in good condition and NOT hard and flat. Ideal saddle is you do not like a lot of bulk.
