    seat is stamped 17",  flaps measure 12.5" bar to bottom and 13.5" across( 2 1/2 Forward flaps) the front gullet measures 4 1/2"- medium tree

    -Saddle has
    no tears and no loose stitching.
    This saddle has both front+ back blocks.  The leather has been well conditioned and is soft. The outer knee pads are very soft and squishy. Saddle does show some cracking on the back of the seat and panels and some seat seam wear( see pictures) Due to this the saddle has been discounted a few hundred dollars from normal. The FE has a medium depth seat and is hard to find used. If you have been wanting a used French saddle that does not break the bank this one is priced to sell at 3/4 off the cost of new!
