We joke that older Stubben saddles will likely survive a nuclear war....and we have no doubt this one would. Is she pretty?....No. But, this old gal is sound and ready for more...and will likely outlast the next two generations or nuclear war. We have NO idea what model this one is, as the billet cover is worn smooth, but has all the look of an early Stubben All Purpose with VSD (forward dressage style) flaps. Black, but has faded to a dark grey. True 18" with an open, flatter seat while still having a narrow twist. Per serial number, this one has 31cm tree, which is Stubben's Medium, fitting true to that. Very short panel at 19", 15" with moderate longer blocks that will offer ample support for its rider's leg over jumps. Billets are sound, would benefit from a reflock in the near future as the panels are rock hard. Has some scrapes, leather discoloration, but this thing is sound as the day is long. She's ready for more riding and is an affordable option for a quality saddle.
