This outstanding Thunderbird is a numbers matching, D code V-8 312 engine with 3 speed manual transmission with factory overdrive, power steering,(this is an original power steering car, but does not currently have power steering. It was restored to manual steering specs Feels like power when driven)  Has removable hard top. This amazing Thunderbird is rust free with an extremely solid undercarriage, which has been painted chassis black. The floor panels are original and have had a few minor patches done over the years.  Overall floors and chassis are super solid and present very well.
This lucky bird is sporting a newer above average paint job In the original factory Ford bronze color. Wet sanded and rubbed to a brilliant gloss!
This stunning Thunderbird runs and drives extremely well and all of the components work exactly as they should.  This super clean Thunderbird has just over 70,000 original miles on the body and chassis, but has less than 7500 miles put on it since undergoing a very comprehensive and thorough restoration approximately five years ago.
The higher end restoration included, rebuilt engine, transmission, rebuilt 4- barrel carburetor, all new or rebuilt external engine accessories, brand new suspension front and back, All new stainless steel fuel and brake lines, brand new hydraulic braking system, mostly new wiring throughout, most exterior chrome is brand new or re-chromed.
New weatherstripping, thorough interior restoration including brand new seat upholstery. All electrical and mechanical components work as they should. This exquisite Thunderbird is a needs nothing, investment grade, above average driver restoration that presents as nearly perfect, but without being so perfect that you have to trailer it around or be afraid to drive it..
