1959 Thunderbird, great car, many people want pictures when I'm driving. I have owned this great car for about 9 years. I'm having to sell my small collection because I'm losing the lease on the 10 car garage I've been renting for the past 10 years. This car along with all my cars has been garage kept, and very much maintained and improved. I've done a number of repairs and improvements. Rebuilt the tranny, Installed electric windshield wipers, (the old vacuum wipers rarely worked) even thou I have never taken it out in the rain. Replaced the interior with carpets, and door panels.new radio, with c/d player. had clock rebuilt professionally, new fuel pump recently, tune ups and normal lof's.The previous owner did many upgrades including new rings, bearings, camshaft,carb,oil pump,electrics,seat covers, dash pad,new black paint. He told me that there was very little wear on the engine top half since the car only had 55, 000 miles on it.As you can see from photos, the chrome has some pitting and would complete the car with re-chroming the bumpers.All in all, its a great driver and very much maintained.
