    Description

For sale is a very cool 1973 Canada Silver $ 10 Olympics Commemorative Coin. This coin was minted in 1973 as a way to commemorate the upcoming 1976 Winter Olympics that were held in Montreal. The coin was one in a series of Olympic coins that each featured different Olympic sports or images. This coin features the map of the globe on the reverse with Canada shaded and the obverse features the bust of a young Queen Elizabeth. It is very scarce in that they minted just 103,426 coins. It is a large coin--actually larger than a U.S. Silver Dollar, and it is nearly 1.5 oz. of sterling silver, which is 92.5%.
As you can see from the pics the coin is in amazing shape, and it would come in as a high MS uncirculated grade. It has a nice satin finish to it and has all the original mint luster. The coin has no major toning, no damage, and it has not been cleaned.
This is a great collectible coin at a low price. Thanks!
