Rare Military AN/VSS-3 Searchlight! 50 million candlepower! Adjustable beam white searchlight with infrared mode!
A real military searchlight similar to ones used on M60 tanks, Jeeps and APC's (armored personnel carriers).
I've been told they originally used these type of lights on Vietnam era Sheriden tanks to light up targets at long distances!
Selling in as-is condition. Untested. We have many of these in stock and will offer discounts when buying multiple units.
You will find them elsewhere listed for 2,000 and up. Not here.
These are all untested and are selling them "as-is" as non working units.
You will receive one Searchlight only. Read some more.
You will need a cable and a working control box and power source to make this function.
I might provide one cable and one non-functioning control box for free as long as I have some available.
Listed as local pickup only but will consider shipping at the buyers expense.
The control boxes may be scratched, dusty, have a loose connection, corroded wire or pin, or a blown fuse. Most do not operate and will need repair. Some with just a little tinkering. Runs on 24 volts DC, so two 12 volt car batteries connected in series can power them.
