    Description

    For your consideration this lovely late 19th century antique 14K Gold Victorian Black Enamel Button Hook . Smaller types of button hooks were often referred to as ("glovehooks") They were used for buttons on dresses, sleeves and men's stiff collars.
    Buttonhook measures 2 1/8" in length and 3/8" in width. Brooch is unmarked but tested 14K and has a weight of approximately 2.7 Grams. Gold content was tested with a Niton DXL Spectral XRF precious metal analyzer.
