    Description

    This is an antique Victorian 14K yellow gold (marked) lorgnette with folding glasses.  The ornate, repouss
    é
    design features a bow and flowers and is the same on both sides.  It is 5 1/8 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide in the folded position, and weighs 31.4 grams (which includes the lenses).
    This beautiful lorgnette is in excellent antique condition: the design is crisply detailed with no wear, there is no monogram, and the spring works well.  However, there are mild surface scratches in the center of both sides, and there are two small dings on one side (see photos).
