Antique Cigarette Vesta/Case Art Deco Round Sterling Rose Gold Sapphire Austria
For your consideration is a very rare, round / circular-shaped, triple sapphire cabochon and sterling 900 silver and inlaid rose gold cigarette case (by Anton Kolar c. 1862-1922 Austria). This case is perfectly round, with rounded corners and engine turned Art Deco design, the hinged cover is fashioned with a cabochon sapphire thumb-piece and end terminals featuring an additional two cabochon sapphires.
The vesta compartment features
a gold washed Vesta compartment with original gold tones bands. The Hallmarks are on both portions of the vesta stamped 900 with AxK and the (2 Hoopoe Bird W) which stands for
