    This listing is for a precut block of Bicron BC412 Scintillator Plastic.
    This material is a Premium Plastic Scintillator Material, tested and guaranteed to work for gamma radiation detection when coupled to a PMT and built into a probe. I often sell these for building your own scintillator detector or use as a direct replacement of damaged sodium iodide scintillators. NaI(Tl) is nice while it lasts, but these plastic scintillators will last indefinitely and are much less expensive. Excellent for use in contamination survey and count rate applications, but not meant for gamma spectroscopy.
