I have been collecting sound systems for over 20 years and this is the best subwoofer I have ever owned. Virtually impossible to find on the 2nd-hand market in USA. I ordered this unit directly from the manufacturer (Essex, UK) the day Brexit was announced. Since it arrived I have used it all of around 200 hours, and very, very lightly (<20-40% gain, never for more than 2 hours continuous music playback). Never used for movies.
I produce and master bass-heavy electronic music and listen to a lot of hi-res jazz and ambient in digital and vinyl formats. I have not met a genre of music this sub can't handle. Extremely transparent, tight, but capable of being driven to dance-party-in-your-living-room proportions. Though tiny by comparison, I have run this subwoofer with Klipsch La Scala IIs just fine. Main use was in studio w/ pair of APS Klasiks (also for sale & can be bundled for discount).
Hoping to find a buyer who understands what they are buying! Here to answer any questions. Thanks for looking.
    Q: Why am I selling?
A: I need to make space (no more studio in-house) & I am building a DIY subwoofer for PA purposes.
Q: What's with the price being so close to MSRP?
A: Shipping was not cheap and I have put barely any use on my unit. Also this model is on an indefinite backorder, so it is literally  impossible to get if you are residing Stateside.
Q: Will this pair with my ___?
A: That depends. Ask me and I will give you my honest take. Not gonna sell you something you don't need.
NB: There is one *tiny*, practically invisible scuff on top that I've included a close-up photo of.
