17.5" Black Country Eloquence "X" dressage saddle in rich black vintage print leather with calf leather seat and knee pads, serge panels and on an X - Wide * Freedom / Hoop * tree in Lovely condition!

Saddle specs:
17.5" seat stamped - (measures a hair smaller) - please see photo of seat measurement. This is a deep, very comfortable and secure seat
Rich black in color with calf skin on the seat and knee pads - hard wearing, yet incredibly soft to the touch and with a slight texture that makes it naturally "sticky" The small and large flaps are in Black Country's super soft "vintage print" leather! Please see close up photos.
Flaps measure a hair under 16 3/4" from top of the stirrup bar straight down
X - Wide width (stamped "T" as was made to template) - please see photo of tree measurement on the highly sought after "X" Hoop/Freedom tree that fits the wide and thick horses that have a flatter back profile front to back - WIDE spinal channel width - please see photo. With its X Wide width and the flatter and open angles of the "X" Freedom/Hoop tree, this saddle would suit all but the thickest of any breed - ideal for Baroque Frisians, PRE, Lusitanos, Drafts, Cobs, Natives and Quarter horses depending on their width. 100% wool flocking throughout which means that this saddle, unlike those with foam panels, can be custom fitted to your horse and the tree can be narrowed or widened by up to 2 cm by a qualified saddler if needed. This saddle has a small full front gusset that can be minimally flocked to provide even more width if needed and a larger weight distributing panel that is called the "K panel" which produces a larger contact surface on the horse's back that is especially appreciated by “cinchy” and “cold-backed” horses. The panel can be flocked very full to provide a bit more lift on either side of the spine in the area under the stirrup bar, yet when modestly flocked, does not alter the fit of the saddle.
This saddle features wool Serge panels which gives it a very secure fit on the horse as the wool has natural anti-slip properties. The panels also offer superior moisture-wicking properties and are “softer” on the horse’s back than leather. Serge panels are a great choice for “cinchy” and “cold-backed” horses. This saddle has uniformly flocking (not flocked to fit a specific horse) that is in lovely condition.

Standard height thigh/knee blocks for the Eloquence
Two girth straps are in place (and one additional webbing for a front angles point billet) with this saddle featuring the self-adjusting girth system that has an additional web point ( v-sliding back billet) to the tree achieving stability and balance whilst the swing allows the billet to find the most natural girthing line.
This saddle has been very well looked after and is in Lovely pre-loved condition! Normal wear to the seams and seat - there is the faintest of a "wave" to the leather on the seat - not a crease - please see the close up photos. There are a couple little dings here and there on the leather - please see the close up photos. The saddle has some smoothing to the vintage print texture on the bottoms of the flaps - please see photos. The girth billets are overall in good condition with years of life left in them. One billet has cracking for the length of approx 2 holes that does go a bit into the leather, but does not affect the usability or soundness of the billet in any way! please see the close up photos. The billets have light marking from where the buckles were - please see the close up photo of the billets.
The aforementioned are purely cosmetic in nature and do not take away from the saddle in anyway! ***Please SEE PHOTOS - If you would like to see additional photos of any of the aforementioned "faults" - just ask!

saddle  has  been  honestly  represented  in  the  listing.  Photographs  and  descriptions   of  defects  including,   scratches,  scrapes,  bumps,  fading,  etc.  have  all  been  included  in  the  listing  with            corresponding
photos.  If  a  listing  says  the  saddle  is  brown,  it's  brown.   If  the  listing  says  it's  new,  it's  new,  etc.,  etc.!
All  saddles  are  cleaned,  conditioned  and  cello-plastic  wrapped  for  shipping  with   security  tape.   The  saddle  packaging  process  is  also  filmed  and  photographed  -  we  have  proof  of  the  condition    of  the  saddle  and  of  the  shipping  box  when  it  was  given  to  the  FedEx  driver.  This  protects  you   as  the  buyer  and  us  as  the  seller.
All  saddles  require  a  signature  for  delivery  and  will  only  be  sent  to  paypal  confirmed  addresses.  Due  to  ebay  and  paypal  regulations,  it  is  not  possible  to  "leave  a  saddle  on  the  porch"  or  "with  a  neighbor"  -                  it  MUST   be  signed  for  by  the  person  who  purchased  it.  If  your  saddle  arrives  with  FedEx   and  there  is  a  problem  with  or  damage  to  the  box  (torn,  opened,  punctured,  excessively   flattened,  etc.)   do  NOT  sign  for  the  saddle- refuse  the  delivery,   indicate   that  the    exterior packaging  is  visibly   damaged  on  the  delivery  driver's  paperwork  as  the   reason   for  refusing  the  saddle  and  contact  us  immediately  via  Ebay.   We  will  handle  the  situation  from  there  with   FedEx directly.  By  signing  for  the  saddle,  you  are  acknowledging that  it  was  received   in  good  condition.There  is  no  recourse  or  way  to  claim  “damage”  due  to  transport  if  the   exterior  box  has  not  been  identified  as  faulty/excessively  damaged   at  the  time  of  delivery.   If,  despite  our  systematic  diligence,  there  is  something  “wrong”  with  a  saddle  you   purchase,  contact  us  straight  away  with  a   description  of  the  problem  and  photos.  We  will  always   strive   to  make                      it   right   and  refund  your  purchase  where  appropriate.
