Well, eventers love this brand for a reason, and now this hunter jumper rider is a convert. This saddle is the closest thing to a seatbelt I’ve found. It’s deep, it’s sticky, and my oversized middle aged butt has stuck some pretty cool dance moves performed by my young thoroughbred on cold windy days. Sadly, it just doesn’t fit me or my mare’s new shape. I had a saddle fitter add some jacobs wool flocking to it recently but I’m going to need something else… my loss is your gain! It’s got knee blocks, thigh blocks, and very squishy padded knee flaps. The flaps underneath are built up going up to the knee blocks which helps you feel like you’ve got your knee on the horse a little better. Stamped 17” and MW tree. Full calf skin everywhere. There are the usual signs of use, but the saddle hasn’t been abused. I’ve included photos from lots of angles but I’m happy to take more if there’s something else you’d like to see. Check out the photo from the top- it shows you how deep the channel is between the knee and thigh blocks where your leg sits.
