    Description

Here is a beautiful pair of Original Budweiser blob top beer bottles from Anheuser - Busch business partner C Conrad & Co.
One is a quart and the other is a pint.
During the late 1800's, most brewers focused just upon brewing beer and putting it in wooden kegs to sell to taverns.
They found putting it into bottles to be a nuisance.
Adolphus Busch had a hunting buddy named Carl Conrad who partnered with AB to market Budweiser in bottles during the years 1876-1883.
This was the first use of the Budweiser name ever in the U. S.
Note the patent number on both bottles, in an attempt to keep other breweries from using the name.
There is some minor damage on each bottle top, where the clumsy bartender used an ice pick to remove the cork.
Bid with confidence from a seller with 100% satisfaction.
