Shipped with USPS wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap.
Each bookmark contains at least 1000mg of powdered monazite (high grade thorium ore) mixed into an acrylic bookmark. Monazite contains 3.5-10% thorium dioxide and emits alpha particles and undergoes (beta and/or gamma decay).
Other ingredients: 4 grams acrylic epoxy
The 1000mg bookmark weighs  at least 5g and is 25x91mm inches and less than 2.1mm thick.
When the top of this sample is placed within 1/4 inch of the if the geiger tube as shown in the picture, it will produce a count above 250CPM.
