Vintage Soviet personal dosimeter DKP-50A (DKP50A)
Personal dosimeter From USSR Army.
These dosimeters were used in the Soviet army. Each soldier was carrying and handed to the laboratory for testing
when viewed in a tube can be visible scale.
Original, military DKP-50A dosimeter  used for a detection of the presence ULTRA HARD of the ionizing radiation (of for example radioactive contaminations) and of determining it's straining  or the dose.
The ionization chamber connected with the charged condenser is a basic part of the personal DKP-50 dosimeter with determined cargo. Under the influence of the radiation gas filling the chamber up is ionizing oneself and the condenser gradually is going flat leaning quartz thread. The measuring scope is taking out from 2R about to 50R. The dose  is possible directly to read out on the scale of the dosimeter. Dosimeter of the multiple use with the possibility of the calibration and loading.
DKP-50A  was worn attached to pocket or belt by means of the retaining clip. A scale has range of 0-50R (R = Roentgen, a legacy unit of exposure of X-rays and gamma rays). 500R in 5h is usually lethal.
