    DR-M3 Radiation Detector Yugoslavian Military Geiger Counter Dosimeter Beta Gama
    The model of the detector is DR-M3 (after which the Czech IT-65 was made). It was made in 1986 and is in very good visual condition.
    Matching unit and bag serial numbers.
    It is capable of measuring alpha, beta and gamma radiation. It is a newer version with scale in Grays instead of Roentgens as on previous version. The seal on the probe and main housing is intact and the device was thus never opened. The listing includes a complete set: the detector with probe, heavy duty leather bag, 12V/24V adapter that army used to power it from vehicles, an earpiece and spare light bulbs for the adapter (adapter has 24V when two of the bulbs are removed from it) . The leather bag includes original callibration source Sr90 in a lead capsule that is mounted on the side of the bag.
    The unit has two measuring systems. First is a Geiger-Muller probe for detection of lower ranges of contamination with alpha, beta and gamma radiation and the second one that is inside the unit is an ionisation chamber for detection of high levels of gamma radiation.
