    Description

    Kieffer Aachen Dressage Saddle.
    I bought this saddle new many years ago. It was used sparingly for only 4 years and then stored carefully since. Freshly cleaned and conditioned.
    I couldn’t remember the specifics so I emailed Kieffer directly in Germany with the ID number imprinted on the underside and this is the response I received
    ‘Thank you very much for your email and your interest in our products.
    “Based on the saddle number it is a model Aachen dressage with a seat size 0=16" that has been made in 1986. The saddle has been delivered with medium wide tree of 32 cm between the tree tips but the width is adjustable and could has been changed in the meantime. The saddle has got a standard tree, that has to be heated for an adjustment. Based on the age it is remarkable to say that the saddle has gussed panels. I hope that this information has been of help to you.”
    I’m the original and only owner and the tree was never adjusted.
    Please see photos for best description. A few small scratch around the pommel and some discoloration across the skirt.
    There is a name plate on the back, which I can take off or leave on if you prefer to use it as a template for fitting your own.
