The Hämmerle brewery was located in the core town of Altenmünster. It was demolished in April 2005. Only the inn is preserved. The Altenmünster group of companies emerged from the merger of the Hämmerle brewery with the Sailer brewery of Gerd H. Borges in
Leuterschach
, which was taken over by the
Allgäuer Brauhaus
in 2002 (part of the
Radeberger group
since 2003 ). The
Mainzer Aktien Bierbrauerei
(
Binding
Group, since 2002 Radeberger Group of
Dr. August Oetker
) took over the
trademark rights
held by Sailerbräu Franz Sailer to the
brand
for the
Altenmünster brewer beer

rastal is painted under the 0.25L on the side of the glass. rastal is a glass company founded in 1919 in Hohr-Grenzhausen, Germany. The shape of this glass is unique. I did not see the shape on the rastal website.
Up for auction is a Hammerle Bier Glass. The glass is 5.5" tall and rim diameter is about 2". The glass is in good condition. No chips or cracks.
