Pistol Belt
made of white canvas webbing with bright nickel hardware.
This may be an M1936 Pistol Belt (M36 alternatively) or the M56 pattern, or a contemporary replica, and I cannot quite discern which (my grandfather was active in the VFW and this is among the last of his random boxes). Its clips have a W in an Oval as a maker's mark. This belt measures roughly 42.5" and features the classic toggle lock closure and multiple grommeted mounting points for holster, pouches, and other gear. Suitable for a color guard, for dress wear or for an MP uniform or costuming of that era, this belt is sturdy and good to go. It has no signs of use at all, but the surplus bag in which it was stored has seen better days.
