Metal German Military Battery Powered Multi Use Lamp by Varta. All metal hand lantern from Varta in Germany. Takes a lantern battery or multiple "D" cells ( not really sure, could be "C" size ) with the included adapter that is inside. I believe it is from 1987. A switch on the side next to the domed end turns either one end or the other on. A rotating stand will support it in several positions. Very well constructed and painted with no corrosion on the inside from leaking "Ray-O-Vacs", never used. From a smoke free home.
