In this auction we offer:
I offer a military on-board X-ray meter (radiation meter) type DPS-68.
The device is designed for radiation measurements in the range from 0.0005 R / h to 200 R / h in 5 ranges.
The device is intended for use in stationary facilities, military vehicles, as well as helicopters and airplanes.
Compared to standard military portable X-ray gauges, the device has additional functions and the possibility of connecting the probe on a long cable.
The cable length can be up to 100 m.
The X-ray meter has an additional socket on which a voltage appears proportional to the dose rate measured by the device, thanks to which a standard digital meter with a range from 0 to 2V can be connected to the X-ray meter, thanks to this modification the accuracy of measurements is significantly increased.

Attention!
The meter uses a GM STS-5 transducer in the probe.
It is practically one of the most sensitive drivers available on the market.
To reduce its sensitivity, the probe is shielded with a steel tube in an aluminum housing (probe cover).
After removing the probe cover, the device has a very high sensitivity in the lowest sub-range, which is better than e.g. the DP-66 meter.
