Ortho-Flex Endurance Cutback Saddle
#E691 17.5" seat made of Black Boarhide Leather. The 17.5” inch cutback seat sits like a 15” western saddle but you are way snugger in the seat!!
It weighs about 22 lbs. Low cutback Pommel 3" tall, 10" wide (cantle). Gullet width: Full 5 3/4. Seat 1" stitch down padding. Flaps with heavily padded knee rolls, very secure on the trail. There are 2" wide biothane stirrup straps with "micro" fenders and Blevins buckles. Also comes with NEW 4 inch wide Nylon distance endurance stirrups, an Original ortho Flex 24” English cinch and one set of English endurance booties.
Size 25 inch with flap, with a white fleece bottom.
This is an Original Ortho-Flex System. The Endurance Cutback is designed specifically for the distance rider. This saddle is more secure than the ordinary English Saddle. Two layers of varied-density foam are covered with Black Boarhide and stitched to anatomically correct pattern for your seat bones. Because distance riding takes its toll on the horses back, the stirrups are mounted well under the seat for a very legs-under riding position. This position suspends the rider's weight from the middle of the tree for
better weight distribution throughout the length of the saddle. The very thick thigh rolls are designed to position high to allow you to balance in the stirrups without tipping forward in the downhill or in the two-point position.
