    Description

    Plastic Chess men in Inlaid Wooden Boxboard. Shipped with USPS First Class.
    This small chess set came as a gift in the 1990s. It was lightly used before going into years of storage. The pieces are plastic in the Staunton pattern. They are black & white with green felting. The kings are 1 3/4 in. X 3/4 in.
    The box board is 13 X 13 in. with 1 5/8 in. squares. It has hooks & eyes latches and is 3 1/2 in. deep when closed.
    The seller has added an inner, hinged wooden case with a metal lock to help protect the pieces. This is 8 in. x 4 1/2 in. x 1 3/4 in. and has 3 compartments.
    The seller will include instructions for playing chess and for chess notation (recording the moves). The latter are helpful in reading chess literature.
