Description
Stan Davison was an accomplished caricaturist and author.  He served in the Navy and wrote books about it featuring his art work.  This set of 6 Boston Bruins players hand painted on heavy board type material and attached to blocks with the players names are one of a kind and all but one (Ken Hodge) are signed by Stan Davison.  The quality of his art work given the small size and the intricate detailes is amazing.   The Bobby Orr piece has 1971 written underneath the base and that would make sense given the lineup.  These have great eye appeal with fantastic color and details despite a bit of flaking and other minor surface issues in spots.    From a larger collection of Stan Davison folk art, pronvenance has it that he would pass his free time with such projects while serving in the Navy.  Free shipping in North America
