Russel Wright Knowles Queen Anne’s Lace Set, 9" Serving & Four Side Plates, MCM

Description

For sale is a Russel Wright for Knowles set in the Queen Anne’s Lace pattern. Featuring a matte cream base, the pieces are decorated with a light brown stylized flowers and gold impressed Xes representing the lacing crown of these flowers. The plates approximately measurements are  9" by 8 " with a height of 1/2", 7/8" at the raised ends, for the serving plate; the four matching side plates at 6 1/8" wide and 1/2" high. All five plates are marked with gold back stamps.
The pieces are generally in good condition although it varies. The serving plate is in the best condition without damage or utensil marks; it has very light wear on the bottom and two completely glazed little bumps on the surface. Three plates show wear and have light utensil marks but are undamaged.
This plate is being included to keep the set together. It is suitable for display with the following observations: The hairline crack is detailed in the last photograph; the crack is just right of center with an utensil mark to the right of that. There is a second hairline crack on the plate, neither is not visible on the reverse. It has a shallow chip on the rim as well.
