Russel Wright Paden City Justin Tharaud Highlight Nutmeg Bowls, Set of Two (2)

Description

For sale is a pair (2) of Russel Wright cereal bowls by Justin Tharaud in the Highlight pattern and nutmeg color. These slightly oval bowls feature a warm brown glaze and extended lip on one side that makes it easy to hold. Each bowl measures approximately 7 3/4" wide by 6 3/8" deep across the top, sit on a round base 2 1/2" wide and stand 1 3/4" high.
The bowls have been used over the years and developed their own patina which is darker and more of a matte finish than the contrasting exteriors. Each has small chips on the reverse side of the rim (photograph 12); three production divots and one has a light spot on the rim (fully glazed). They have beautiful mid-century lines and make beautiful display pieces.
