Youth sized Stubben English "Rex" 15" saddle with leathers and irons.
Let me introduce you to a posh little English saddle named "Rex," who was crafted by Stubben over in Germany and found his way here to the United States. He is a lovely 15" seat designed for a youth/small adult rider. He is an older model who has met plenty of horses and ponies in his day, and since he's been used by several riders over the years, he shows some general signs of wear. However, Rex has plenty of miles left and would love to find a new home.
Rex is going to be great for someone looking for a great saddle on a budget. If you're new to English riding and maybe want an experienced saddle to get you started off, Rex is your guy! He'd love to introduce you to English if you're new and starting out (and he understands if you eventually 'upgrade' once you fall in love with English riding). But, he'd also be pleased if you decided to use him as your main squeeze for several more years.
Rex just doesn't want to retire yet! Just put leather conditioner on him before listing, just to make him prettier for potential homes!
Saddle has been paired with leathers and irons -- these are not the original leathers and irons that came with this saddle. We're honestly not sure where the originals got off too, but they definitely are no longer with Rex. But, he's excited to say that his irons are Dublin MetalLab irons and although they too have some wear, they're ready for more riding, too. Leathers are a little dry, and they're not exactly the same color as the saddle (at least, to our eye), but they're a great starting off package.
Inside, this saddle is marked with the Stubben plate as well as says "Rex" and is stamped B4348.
