Used Black Country Eloquence Dressage Saddle. Condition is used.
“17” but measures as 17.5” and rides bigger, I usually ride in 17.5” deeper seated saddles but this one rides bigger than those. Black Country Eloquence dressage saddle in yummy brown chocolate leather, wide-extra wide low open tree perfect for those flat backed and wide horses or ponies, shoulder gussets, and comfy serge panels. Also features a point billet which is helpful on wide horses to keep saddle stable, swinging rear billet strap, and added rear dee rings. This saddle is in Excellent condition with Top Quality leather and Great Walsall, England workmanship. These saddles are going for 00 now, get this lovely model for 1/2 in great condition and don’t Wait for months to have a new one built! These saddle are rare and extremely sought after for drafties, wide baroque horses, warmbloods Morgan’s, etc. Sadly for sale as my Lipizzan geldings have outgrown it and I need a smaller seat size. It’s so comfortable, you could ride in it for hours, like a soft easy chair.
The Eloquence Dressage saddle has proved to be the most popular dressage model in this range for whatever level you are riding in. It offers a medium deep seat, giving stability without restriction and excellent centre of balance. Knee rolls are of medium depth but can be custom built if required.

As with the Eden, this saddle has a self-adjusting girth system by way of an additional web point attached to the tree which helps to stabilize the balance whilst the swing allows the billet to find the most natural girthing line.
The Black Country “Eloquence” offers a wider twist and a lower pommel than the “Eden.” The Eloquence allows you to ride with a shorter leg, which is a huge help for people with hip flexibility issues. Wool flocked gusseted panels and a generous gullet clearance provide outstanding fit for your horse, and the tree design makes it a good choice for the flatter-backed horse. The Eloquence offers the same point front billet and rear swing billet as the Eden. Featuring Black Country’s “Printed Vintage” leather, it feels broken in on the first ride, and has the added bonus of resisting scratches and marks from everyday use.
