    Description

    There is very little information about this marine radiometer!
    The device is in excellent condition. The device was almost never used.
    The device has not been tested for operability. I don't know if it works or not! Sold as is! No battery available!!!
    It should work.
    Sensor kit : SI-34G and SBT-11 Gamma radiation counter
    For the collection or for its intended purpose.
    Headphones are not included. For this radiometer, you will need high-frequency headphones TA-56m or similar at 3200 ohms. In my store there are such headphones but the plug to the radiometer connector does not fit. The plug needs to be changed!
    Upon request, I will send you a technical description in Russian in electronic format
    .
    Feel free to ask questions!
    The ship's beta-gamma radiometer KRBG-1 is designed to measure the degree of contamination with beta-active substances of various surfaces and to measure the dose rates of gamma radiation, measurement limits from 0.25 mR / h to 300 R/h, five sub-bands for measuring beta radiation in the range from 50 to 5X X106 rasp / min-cm2.
    KRBG-1 consists of a measuring console, a beta-gamma sensor, and headsets.
    The measuring panel includes the front panel with the chassis. The remote control has an electrical measuring circuit and a housing with a power supply compartment. On the front panel there is a scale of the electric measuring device, a sub-band switch, a “Light " button to turn on the scale illumination, a “Comp."gamma background compensation for beta measurements, “TLF" sockets for connecting heads-
    The beta-gamma sensor consists of a housing, a cover, an internal board and a cable with a chip. It can be attached either to a sliding rod (length from 0.4 to 1 m), or directly to the remote control. In the sensor cover there is a window for beta measurements, protected by a film. On the cover there is a steel rotary screen, which is used for conducting gamma measurements.
    The gamma sensor consists of a cylindrical casing, a chassis, and a flexible three-meter cable. The sensor is used for gamma measurements.
    The device is powered by two elements of the type 1,6-PMTs-x-1,05 or from one battery of the brand SCS-5. Continuous operation time from the cells up to 30 hours, and from the battery up to 150 hours. Voltage 1.5-1.8 V.
    current 22-31mA
    The device has vibration and impact resistance, is resistant to explosive effects, and is sealed.
    The radiometer is powered by a single silver-zinc battery SCS-5 with a voltage of 1.5-1.8 V., which ensures the operation of the radiometer for 150 hours in one charging cycle. For power supply, two 1.6-PMC-x-1 (KB-1) galvanic cells can also be used with a special block attached to the spare parts, ensuring the operation of the radiometer for 30 hours.
    The radiometer is operable in the range of operating temperatures from -40 to +50°C and after staying at temperatures from -50 to + 65 °C when powered by 1.6-PMC-x-1 galvanic cells. When powered by SCS-5 batteries, the radiometer is operable in the temperature range from -10 to +50 °C. Changes in the radiometer readings caused by the deviation of the ambient temperature from normal (+ 20°C) to + 50 °C. does not exceed ±20%, and up to -40 °C does not exceed ±40%.
    The radiometer is operational for beta measurements up to the following values of the dose rate of the external gamma background (by sub-bands):
    5*102 rasp/min.* cm2 - up to 0.1 mr / h
    5 * 103 rasp / min.* cm2 - up to 1 mP / h
    5 * 104 rasp / min.* cm2 - up to 10 mP / h
    5 * 105 rasp / min.* cm2 - up to 100 mP / h
    5*106 rasp / min.* cm2 - up to 500 mR/h.
    The additional error does not exceed ±(20+5*(Pn/Pm)) ranges 5*102, 5*103 ,5*104 rasp / min. * cm2, and ±(40+5*(Pn/Pm))% in the ranges of 5 * 105, 5*106 rasp / min. * cm2, where
    Pn - the minimum scale value of the corresponding sub-band;
    Pm - the value of the measured value.
    The radiometer is operable in conditions of:
    - magnetic fields with a strength of up to 10 oersted;
    the relative humidity of the surrounding air is up to 95-98%, at a temperature of up to +40±2°C.
    The radiometer is vibration-proof:
    - in the frequency range of 5-35 Hz at acceleration up to 1.5 g;
    - shock-resistant at 7g acceleration;
    - resistant to explosive effects at acceleration up to 400 g.;
    - sealed.
