Hard-to-find eventing/jumping saddle that was produced on a very limited basis by legendary rider and Olympic team coach Jimmy Wofford, in partnership with a high quality English saddle maker of his choosing. These are quite rare: very few of these saddles ever made it to the US. It's made with soft, high quality layered calf leather that provides fabulous grip. It has a deep, open seat and excellent balance over the stirrup bars. This saddle would be absolutely perfect for someone new to eventing
or looking to gain experience as it really helps you feel where your body should be when galloping or jumping, and provides great security. It would also be excellent for foxhunting. The foam flocking is soft and smooth and in perfect condition, and the gullet is fairly wide to accommodate a wide number of withers. It does particularly well on wide, round shouldered horses like IRH, warmbloods and even large ponies. The leather and stitching are in good condition with only minor wear on flaps, the only cosmetic damage is two superficial scrapes on the underside of the saddle which aren't visible during use and wont affect wear or durability at all.
